Uptown's Long Beach Thunder
is a group of 11 and 12 year old players from Uptown Long Beach Cal Ripken Baseball League's 
Majors Division that joined together after the regular Spring Season to play
in a tournament at Cooperstown All Star Village in Cooperstown, New York, August 3-9, 2019.

They have been playing in many small local tournaments to build the team
and prepare for their journey to the East Coast.

While playing in Cooperstown, they will face teams from all over the United States and the World.

This year's adventure will also take the LB Thunder to Philadelphia and Boston where they will
visit great historical sites such as:
The U.S. Mint
The Liberty Bell Center
The National Constitution Center
The Freedom Trail
The Boston Tea Party Museum

And watch some professional baseball at
Citizens Bank Park (Phillies vs. White Sox)
and
Fenway Park (Red Sox vs. Angels)
