All Softball players registered or wanting to tryout are required to attend. Your player only needs to attend one evaluation!
 
Please note that all players that evaluate will be placed on a team. Evaluations are to put your player in proper playing division and to ensure we have parity amongst teams. Please remember, the Division you registered for is not necessarily the Division your player will play in.

Players should be in softball attire. Players should bring:

A good attitude! Glove, hat, bat, helmet, cleats, long pants if you don’t have baseball pants, water. If it’s cold, wear long sleeves, try to avoid wearing a sweatshirt.

Please do your best to evaluate with your scheduled group. If you cannot make your scheduled time, or Make Up Day, your player will not be placed on a team. Again, you only need to attend one evaluation. If you are unsure of your childs' playing age, please see chart below.

8U: Born in the year 2010 or 2011 (2012 with league approval)
10U: Born in the year 2008 or 2009
12U: Born in the year 2006 or 2007
14U: Born in the year 2004 or 2005

** The League reserves the right to place any player into the playing division that meets their playing ability **

Please have your players ready to play ball and arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled evaluation time to check in at the registration table.  There will be a line at the check in table. Do not wait until the last minute to arrive. We will also be sizing up for uniforms. Also, in order to verify playing age we will be requiring a copy of birth certificate at evaluations.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT EVALUATION DAY IS THE LAST CHANCE TO PAY YOUR REGISTRATION.  If you have not paid, your child will not be allowed to evaluate and will not be assigned to a team.  If you plan on paying at evaluation day, please bring cash or a check made payable to UPTOWN LBYBS.
